Hi John and Terry,
Just wondering if a reunion will be scheduled in January 2020, as in past years. Look forward to hearing back and I’ll keep checking the website.

Hey,
Thanks so much for the dedication at the Pretzel Fest, it really caught her of guard!! Even though it cut into her shopping!! :-) Keep up the great work.

Hello John, I spent the evening at the Germantown pretzel festival watching Mcguffey Lane play on stage. It was a nice evening and the music was great to hear, from the old ones to the newer ones. I had the first and second albums on cassette, but I lost to theft. I really loved listening to the them. I will keep checking your dates to see where you are playing and hope to see you again
Thanks so much! Glad you had a good time.

Hi John. Used to spend a lot of time at Zachariah Red Eye Saloon with a life long friend Dino Bradley in 1980. Was introduced to Bobby Gene. He said you guys had just signed with ATCO. I still have that album. I just seen that you are going to be at the Brown county fair on the 24th. Hope to see you there, Don't give up your night job.
Thanks Bruce, sorry just saw this hope you enjoyed the show!

1978 - I was a senior in High School. Of course, I went out with my friends then about every weekend. We went to a lot of different places around Columbus but, would usually wind up on High Street, OSU. Zachariah's was one of our favorite places. I loved the way the building had three floors and the bar behind the stage. Zachariah's was where I first was introduced to McGuffey Lane. In some months later, QFM96 ran a promotion called the Hometown Album Project and local bands were auditioning for the album. QFM96 was playing the winners on the air. After the LP was out, there were months of consecutive weekends of live concerts, of every artist/band on the album, somewhere here in Columbus, and QFM broadcasted the concerts. McGuffey Lane's Concert was at Zach's. Spittin' Image's concert was at Zach's. Back in those days, I was really into radio. I listened all the time and sometimes recorded 8-Track tapes of radio concerts if I couldn't buy them. So for me, my Legend of the Redeye still lives on, on two 8-tracks. Then, I bought the 1st McGuffey Lane LP and Spittin' Image's 45. Years later in the mid 80's I wound up serving my country in Germany for 3 years. One day I decided to check the on-base library and found that the McGuffey Lane 5th LP was on the shelf. I couldn't believe it. It was like a postcard from home. I have always supported or been a fan and always will be.

I'm a huge fan of "Green Country Mountains". Can you please tell me who sang the vocals ? Thank you !
Bobby Gene McNelley sang Green Country Mountains on the original album.
