seen your show in Lancaster oh yrs ago loved it .Finally get to see another 1106 hill rd Pickerington oh..Will be their sure I will enjoy the show ....
Should be some mention of John Campigotto, who was the drummer on the first album and toured with McGuffey Lane for almost two years (including opening for Allman Brothers, Charlie Daniels, Jefferson Starship, Outlaws, etc). Can't really airbrush him out, I saw him with the band many times, and his picture is on the album cover.
Getting excited for the Ohio Valley Reunion Tour. Got people here thinking about the Aquanaut Days. We are going to ROCK Hammondsville again.
I was so happy to get to see you August 7,2015 in Dover,OH. I was the one you sang," Be a Friend of Mine" for. I bought the two double album CDs that night, I used to have them all on albums and missed them terribly. I have listened to your music, for many years. One of my favorite things is a poster that the whole band had signed including Tebes and Bobby, it means quite a lot to me. I hope next time to get everyone to sign for me. Your music brings back memories of the happiest times. Thanks again for the song!! Lisa
I am Tracy Schoenholtz fiance and he turned me onto your music January 2015 and I just think you all are so awesome. We may just have to get married at your concerts. I love your music so much. God Bless you ALL !
Remember the photo in Red Eye Saloon of the band. You were sitting around two tables with a bottle of Jack on the table.
My good friend Steve (Tebes), B.J., Steve R, Terry, Dick S, newly added John S. Hope I didn't forget anyone. Photo was taken appx 1975? I used to stay at the farm house in Westerville. It's all houses now. Morgantown WV you guys played a nice show there at the Met Theatre. Photopoems.com
I loved dancing with Steve this band truly rocks
That's so cool thanks Joel!
Just wanted to let you know that McGuffey Lane was mentioned in a book. I wrote a book named "Capital City Pizza". It is a 70's book with much music mentioned. On the last page (273), the last two paragraphs are a tribute to the friends that the main character has and it references "People Like You". I have been a fan since we were sitting in the audience at Zac's in the late 70's. I had all the albums, and even had the Q-FM Hometown Albums. It has been a long time lovin' you!!!
Hey Terry Efaw - glad to hear you and McGuffy Lane are still around and will be playing at Black River Landing near Cleveland in August. I will definitely be there and will tell all my friends!!!
[Hope you remember me even tho I moved from Columbus 15 years ago (girlfriend of Dennis, you played at my sister Beth's wedding .....) Contact me at Clevemetrogal@yahoo.com if you want to hang around after the show, you are welcome to stay in our spare bedroom and check out the Rock Hall and other sights near the great lake!]
